March 2008 - ODF's Eye Drive™ Helps Protect US President on Visit
to Yad Vashem
ODF Optronics Eye Drive took part in security clearance
operations prior to President Bush's January 10th tour of the Yad
Vashem Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem.
The Eye Drive, a remote-controlled, lightweight mini-robot that transmits
real-time 360 video images and sound, was used to screen the area beneath
a 300 square-meter stage and through 80 meter long drainage tunnels.
Its small size and maneuverability enabled Israel Government security
personnel to thoroughly check these otherwise inaccessible areas without
dismantling them.
