November 2007 - Eye Ball Use On The Rise
Over the last several months, the number of customers using the Eye Ball sensor has sharply increased. In addition to the USA , Eye Ball is now in use in over 20 countries in Western and Eastern Europe , and South East Asia . More than half of them are new clients; the rest are satisfied return customers.
We also significantly extended our international distribution channels. We doubled the number of our distributors through new partnerships in Eastern Europe and S.E Asia.

Eye Guard™ (Previously Gate Keeper) -
Deployable surveillance sensors that enable long-term real-time Video Motion Detection (VMD) and sound detection to ensure the sterility of a desired location
ODR™ Series -
Omni-Directional, 360º Reconnaissance system for all types of vehicles (wheeled and tracked; heavy and light; combat and support). Persistent day & night 360º coverage while the vehicle is in motion or stationary.

9 October, 2007 - ODF Rolls Out Mini All-Terrain Wireless Surveillance Robots at Milipol
Tel Aviv, Israel : Today, ODF Optronics, the creator of the renowned Eye Ball camera, launched the Eye Drive™ , its newest solution for urban warfare and anti-terror, police, and search & rescue activities.
Eye Drive is a remote-controlled, lightweight mini-robot that sends and records crystal-clear 360º live wireless video and audio transmissions.
Eye Drive robots can be used by independent units to gather their own intelligence. They can thoroughly scout out an area or deploy remotely-controlled weapons or other monitoring sensors.
Each Eye Drive system includes two independently-controlled mini-robots weighing only
2.3 kg, and a Personal Display Unit (PDU) for view and control.
Compact and easy to deploy, Eye Drive features 'Point 'n Go' touch-screen navigation. Eye Drive is extremely maneuverable, can climb over obstacles, and may be tossed up to 3 meters high.
In addition to seeing the Eye Drive, visitors to Milipol enjoyed live demonstrations of other exciting and innovative ODF solutions as: Eye Ball™ R1, Eye Guard™ (Previously Gate Keeper™), and ODR for heavy and light armored vehicles.

9 October, 2007 - Join us for the formal launch of ODF's new deployable intelligence robot: the Eye Drive™ at Milipol Paris
The formal launch will take place at our Booth No. 3Q132 on October 9 at 02:00pm .
The Eye Drive innovative, miniature robot (A4 size, 2.3 Kg) provides wireless 360 º live video and audio, as well as exclusive ‘Point and Go' navigation feature.
At our booth, we will be demonstrating the Eye Drive, as well as our other exciting, innovative solutions: Eye Ball™ R1, Eye Guard™ (Previously Gate Keeper), and ODR for tanks and armored vehicles as well as for light vehicles.

September 2007 - ODF wins the  " 2007 Frost & Sullivan EMEA Excellence in Technology " Award in the field of digital imaging.

The 2007 Frost & Sullivan EMEA Excellence in Technology Award in the field of digital imaging goes to ODF Optronics Ltd. of Israel for its pioneering tactical device, the Eye Ball™ R1, which is specially designed to support the military and law enforcement agencies in their day-to-day operations.
In recognition of ODF Optronics' significant technology breakthrough that enables the capture and viewing of an entire omni-directional field of view simultaneously in real time and offline, Frost & Sullivan bestows its 2007 EMEA Excellence in Technology Award on this company.

August 2007 - ODF Receives a Major Contract from a leading NATO Army for its Eye Ball™ R1 and Eye Guard™ (previously Gate Keeper™ ) systems.
We recently received a major order from a leading army in NATO. The order is for multiple units of our Eye Ball™ R1 and Eye Guard™ (previously Gate Keeper™) systems. The systems will be supplied during 2007, and will be used to equip both regular and special army units, as well as border control units. The contract is for over a million dollars (US).

27-29 March 2007 - O.D.F. Optronics participates in the Global Security Asia 2007 Exhibition, held in Singapore.

March 2007- The Eye Ball™ R1 wins the 'Creative Thinking' Award from the Israeli Ministry of Defense.
