EyeBall™ R1 is an advanced, audio/visual surveillance sensor that can be deployed and operated by a single person. Each unit is only slightly larger than a baseball making deployment easy; simply throw the EyeBall into the area you need to survey, mount it on a pole or lower it on a cable through a tunnel. EyeBall is self-righting and rotates, to provide continuous 360° video and audio coverage of the target area. Night illumination, visible or invisible, allows the EyeBall to operate at night or in darkened areas.

The sensor is rugged enough to survive a “throw" or "roll” of more than 50 meters with landings in rough terrain, concrete, piles of debris, or through windows.

Each EyeBall R1 kit comes with two EyeBall sensors, a Portable Display Unit (PDU), a training ball, power chargers to keep the EyeBalls in operation and a mounting pole. An optional Deployment Kit offers a variety of mounting devices to increase system versatility and functional options.

A lightweight, compact, and ruggedized carrying case allows the entire kit to be quickly transported to the scene - an enormous advantage when you need immediate intelligence.
