General
- Size of our business is important to organization
- Focus: willing to align personnel to develop market that does not
exist
- Capable of managing a growth oriented business
- Not selling competing products
- History of getting into relationships that last over time
- Is comfortable in selling/acting like a distributor in the Military
and/or Law enforcement markets
- Has required business permits and is not on any operating black lists
by country officials
- Practices strong business ethics
Sales
- Has or is willing to create, a strong Sales force to reach out to
target customer base for niche products
- Is respected organization in the territory
- Has strong relationships with intended customers and reputation of
solid partner
- Understands selling process to properly position product
- Is willing to invest in starting up the market ( selling time and
effort)
-Has the capacity to purchase and distribute Trial and Evaluation units
for sampling
-Sales force development
-Willing to be cash flow negative in start up
-Experienced in introducing new products to the marketplace
- Has the capability to understand technology basics as it applies to
ODF product line
- Capable of selling higher price pointed items
- Willing to commit to yearly sales quotas
Service
- Has the capability to provide first level service to Customers
- Willing to stock first level parts in inventory
- Willing to provide service or contract with top tier firm
- Be willing to work on teams to design next generation products with
ODF
Marketing
- Maintain active marketing to drive awareness of the product
-Appropriate trade shows and demonstration event
-Appropriate Website development and maintenance
- Creation of local language brochures, videos to drive awareness
- Experience in introducing new products to marketplace
Has a strong financial position
- Capable of carrying limited inventory of parts and units to service
local market quickly
- Willing to invest in appropriate government lobbying to drive adoption
of product and potentially funding of it
- History of paying other vendors timely and fully
Regulatory
- Be comfortable in dealing with regulatory process to obtain necessary
permit
- Be willing to obtain selling and marketing approvals for communication
devices in ODF’s name
